What we offer?
Our proposal is to share experiences in HIGH PERFORMANCE SPORTS that allow us to reflect upon what happens in business, using specific examples and real people as learning tools. This will allow for an increase in the growth and performance of people and organizations, and help us achieve a new style of management and leadership.
Motivation
Leadership
A leader must have the capacity to develop a vision that defines and meets objectives which bring together the whole team, and that vision must be the unalterable responsibility of the leader and the team. All should share the same dreams and desires since without them, it is impossible to achieve the fixed objectives.
We should not be a simple spectator in what happens, but should take an active part in the game. Those that act as leaders should have the virtue to know how to organize and, at the same time, induce attitudes that make the goals to be reached easier to attain.
Team Work
To work in a team is not easy, but we have to understand the following, “One is never the sum of the parts”. This expression explains why we need to put together a team: There are those that put in all the effort and responsibility, there are those that know how to make decisions and there are those that do not understand their role and do not know how to work for objectives and results. Here, we also find different personalities: those that are prepared, trained, and willing to be part of a team. These are the players that train under any weather condition, that are optimists, that work by always pushing themselves and they are the employees that never rest in the light of learning, of wanting to be trained and progress day after day.
Planning and Strategy
There are also other ways of making decisions that come from planning and strategy. For example, a F-1 team makes 2 or 3 stops in the boxes, a basketball team can decide to play one on one or zone, a soccer TD can decide on what formation to go out and play with. The success of the plan depends on the use of mechanisms for correct ways of thinking and the knowledge of the sport or similar work.
Decision Making
The leaders have the responsibility to make the necessary adjustments in the teams in business so that the challenge that presents itself is transformed into a success. However, they are the player that, more often than not, have to make decisions under pressure and the conditions are not always the most adequate, “pass the ball or dribble”, “kick with the right or the left”, only a fraction of a second is available to make a decision.
The world of sports constantly shows us that success in quick decision making has to do with a capacity to immediately detect specific patterns in the environment and for this we should be prepared
Coaching
The need to generate new ideas in a faster way has turned information and knowledge into an even more valuable asset. Proof of this is the revolution present in all that is directly related; internet, information in general, training, etc. The goal is to make people accept to invest all their talent in the organization at a much higher level of participation or implementation. Coaching, through structured methodology, takes into account approaches that allow us to work on increasing efficiency in the development of the potential of the individuals. The organizations that decidedly bet on the development of capital intellect, find in coaching, an invaluable model that helps them reach out to people.
Communication
To achieve success in an organization one should have all communication channels open, and it should flow in all directions. It should give the necessary information and it is the first step to be able to reach the objectives.
